Ryan Alexander: Eleven Months

 Ryan by month 1 // // 3 // 4 // 5 // 6 // 7 // 8 // 9 // 10

Growing // You are getting so big it's wild! You LOVE to eat, and I haven't weighed you lately, but I wouldn't be surprised if you weighed like 24/25 lbs at your one year check up. People are always commenting on how big you are, when in reality, I think you are just average, if not maybe smaller than the average 11 month old?

Eating + Sleeping // You are breastfeeding about 4/5 times a day and you are eating alot of solids throughout the day. And because of all the food, you have a hard time finishing your bottles on the days you're home with dad. So I've been pumping less at work. I think the weaning process has begun. Strange to think our breastfeeding journey is slowly coming to an end. You are doing 2 naps most days, sometimes 3, but that just depends on how bad you slept the night before! You still go to sleep so easily on your own, but you just wake up. However, all I have to do is put your pacifier back in your mouth, most nights, some nights that isn't enough, and I end up feeding you, but those nights are becoming less and less common. Honestly though, you are a much better sleeper than your brother these days. You go to bed around 6 and wake up between 6-7.

You LOVE rice cakes, bananas, black beans, sweet potatoes, etc.

Wearing // You are wearing mostly 12 month stuff, but some of your clothes are 18 months and you are wearing size 4 diapers still.

Loving // You LOVED the water in Hawaii. You loved the beach and drinking the pool and ocean water. you'd dip your little head down into the water so fast before we could get you to sit upright again! You love playing with your brother. Jack is just so sweet with you - sharing his snacks and his toys and making you laugh. He wakes up in the morning and says I wanna play with ry guy. It's just the sweetest thing. You love to just watch your brother and the crazy things he does makes you laugh!

Loathing // Still not a huge fan of staying up past your bedtime! And your bedtime these days is more like 6 pm. It's crazy how early you go to bed.

Doing // You are crawling! You are moving everywhere now. You are such a wiggle worm. It's so hard to get you to stay still. You can pretty much do everything, but you just aren't pulling up to stand. You are so close though!

Milestones // First plane ride! You did amazing. I was so proud. First trip to Hawaii, and most definitely not your last. The four of us shared a room, and you guys slept incredible. You were going to bed at like 5 PM. You now have 7 teeth! You celebrated your first Halloween and you were a little tiger. And we stayed out WAY past your bedtime, but you just fell asleep in the carrier.
